Community Meeting Scheduled Tuesday, August 23

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is coming to East Cobb to hear the community’s experience, concerns, and suggestions about their interaction with the Cobb County Police Department. A community meeting is scheduled this Tuesday, August 23, from 7pm to 9pm at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall. Mt. Bethel UMC is located at 4385 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta/East Cobb. Your feedback will help guide IACP’s efforts to advance the operations, policies, procedures, training, and accountability systems of the Cobb County Police Department.

Let your voice be heard. The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is working with the Cobb County Police Department to conduct a comprehensive operational assessment of the police department. The IACP is interested in hearing positive comments, as well as constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the department, so that the police department can ensure they are meeting the needs of the community.

Your feedback is important to the Cobb County Police. In addition to a community meeting, the IACP is also  offering citizens the opportunity to participate in this process through their online survey.
