Feeding Time at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Join a naturalist for an in-depth look at one of their resident animals as they are being fed. 4pm. A Very Vegas Valentine. Hometown girl and Las Vegas Headlining singer Laura Wright returns to Marietta with her fiancé and Las Vegas Headlining comedian Anthony Padilla for a night of laughter, song, stories, and romance. 9th Annual Heart of Georgia Open Swap Meet presented by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA). This swap meet and car corral features parts for sale from all manufacturers and welcomes all makes of cars and trucks for sale in the car corral. Swap meet space or car corral spot $25. 8am-3pm. Learn to Curl with an Olympian. Olympic Gold Medalist Jamie Korab will join to teach the Learn to Curl class, showing participants the basics of curling. Jamie played on the 2006 Canadian Olympic Curling Team that won gold in Turin, Italy. Tough Guys Don’t Dance. A screening of this Norman Mailer classic with a discussion from special guest Justin Bozung. Kids Curling Class with an Olympian. Olympic Gold Medalist Jamie Korab will join to teach the Learn to Curl class, showing participants the basics of curling. African American History Month Bingo. Families with children of ages are invited to play a special version of bingo where they learn about influential African Americans and historical events. Family Fort Night. Camp out after hours at Mountain View! We’ll start the night out with a few read alouds and snacks in the Children’s Program Room. Once the library is closed, you can build the perfect blanket fort for your family to do your bedtime reading at the library! Bring your own blankets and pillows. We’ll provide the s’mores and the books (or you can bring your favorites)! Parents must remain in the library for the duration of the program. This program is appropriate for children of all ages.
