Congratulations to Wheeler High School senior Sana Yasmeen, a dual-enrollment student at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) , for being part of an SPSU team that won first place among 38 teams from 32 colleges and universities in a business plan competition at the Georgia Social Business and Microcredit Forum.
Muhammad Yunus, the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner, presented the prize to the SPSU team for its plan for Restoration Trust, a microloan program to help abused women in Marietta.
